Tourist Pictures is the work of Stefan Nadelman, primarily in the field of animation and motion graphics for film, music videos, and commercials. Tourist Pictures is located in scenic Prospect Heights, Brooklyn Portland, Oregon.

BIO:
Son of a wedding videographer and photographer, Stefan received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Iowa State University in 1994 and began working in New York City as a graphic designer. Circa Y2K, he transitioned to animation full-time.

In 2000, Stefan's first film, Latin Alive was included on the Best of Resfest DVD volume 1. His next film Terminal Bar won the Jury Prize for short film at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival.

Among a variety of personal, collaborative, and commercial work, he has directed and animated shorts with Robert Smigel for Saturday Night Live's TV Funhouse, music videos for Menomena, Ramona Falls, and the viral mini-epic short film about war called Food Fight.

Documentaries are where Tourist Pictures flexes it's muscles, working on Brett Morgen's Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, Johnny Knoxville's Being Evel, and Amir Bar-Lev's epic Long Strange Trip.


Stefan continues to direct and animate for food, film, and fun.
